Dr. Gerber and his staff are very friendly people and very knowledgeable. Dr. Gerber saved my pets life, when wheatifield vets did not know what was the matter with my dog(said it could be her teeth).\r\n My dog would have died in a week flys were eating her inside her body.\r\n However Dr. Gerber place has gotton so busy now that I never get him, even when requested. He has a nice person working with him,I just dont know that much about her.

    Pros

Dr. Gerber is a great vet .

    Cons

    way to busy

Everyone on staff at Gerber Small Animal Hospital is an animal lover and a pet owner themselves. They know exactly how we feel when our precious pets are sick. The vets are extremely dedicated and don't stop until they find an answer to your problem. The staff is nothing but helpfull. With a dog with major health problems and 3 cats (one is 18) we consider them family.\r\n\r\nWe have many, many friends whose pets are treated at Gerber, and have heard many stories - some wtih happy endings, some sad - but never a complaint regarding the staff or their treatment of the animals.\r\n\r\nWe can not speak, woof, or meow loudly enough to praise and recommend Gerber Small Animal Hospital.

    Pros

    Amazing Staff

    Cons

    No evening hours

This hospital has a wonderful vet and a caring staff. I think an article in our local paper sums this up very well!!! From the Niagara Gazette, 11/17/07:\r\n My husband and I were in your lovely city Nov.5. We needed a little getaway. We found a wonderful hotel that allows you to have your pets with you and as we are seniors, it sure was wonderful. My husband is recovering from a massive stroke and suffers from seizures. Needless to say, we try to take things as calm as possible. \r\n On Monday morning, I realized I has forgotten my dachshund's heart medication. She is 10 years old and needs half a pill a day. In a panic, I went to a local vet and explained we were just there until Wednesday and needed one pill. She told me they couldn't help me and to go to a pharmacy. I went to a pharmacy and they wouldn't talk to my vet in Canada because I was on a cell phone and wondered why I was there in the first place. They said the drug was not American. With all the commotion going on, I was terrified my husband would suffer a seizure. After half an hour, I gave up. \r\n Upon checking out of the store, a wonderful lady at the cash register told me to go to Dr. Gerber Animal Hospital on Military Rd. They were absolutely wonderful. They gave me pills, (I only needed one), and there was no charge and it was an American drug. I broke into tears and was so relieved that we could stay and not have to go home. I started at 8 a.m. trying to find help and got to them by 1 p.m. So, if anyone needs a truly kind and amazing veterinarian, they certainly know where to go. They care. God bless them.\r\n Only for them would we travel back to the United States of America. \r\n\r\n This article definately gives you insight into how wonderful Dr. Gerber's hospital is and why your pet should be going there!!!!

    Pros

    They really care!!!

    Cons

    None found.
