Within weeks of moving to my new state, my 14 yo black lab became very ill, with labored breathing and a cough. \r\nI had no new vet in the area, and called Doc's Animal Clinic close by my home. I was seen immediately and my dog was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. \r\nThe entire staff was VERY thoughtful and concerned, and after he did not respond to medication, they were VERY caring about my options and the decision I had to make. All options were explained to me, no excessive tests or expensive routines were recommended (a big, nice, change from my prior 30+ vet conglomerate).\r\nWhen it came time for Rocket to cross the rainbow bridge, they make it as comfortable as possible for both of us under these difficult circumstances. \r\n\r\nNow that I am proudly owned by a shelter cattle dog, we will certainly be paying a visit to our new permament vet!!
