This is a good group of people who are helpful and know their stuff. They are great to work with and do whatever they can to help animals.

    Pros

    They Know Their Stuff

    Cons

    They Are Really Busy

I have adopted and fostered in the past from the shelter and was impressed with them putting forth every effort to get the animals re-homed. Though it has been a while since I was in there, the last visit was very pleasant and the staff caring and knowledgeable. I'd rate GCAS one of the best around.

    Pros

Staff tries hard to rehome the animals

    Cons

bit of a driving distance from me

Since Kim Schoolcraft took over, the euthanization rate has dropped, more dogs and cats are being adopted and the place never looked better. Hopefully, with the bond approval, the new building will bring this shelter back to the top where it belongs

    Pros

    Doing far better

    Cons

    Building needs replacing
