This is a wonderful enterprise that's been going on for a long time. They provide living space for wild animals such rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and any number of other exotic animals. Seems to be run incredibly well. Visitors are able to drive through the refuge and see the animals up close. Wondeful opportunity for children and adults alike.

    provides refuge for many animals

What an awesome place for all of you who love animals, especially exotics, and endangered species. And knowing that your visit there helps to fund research, breed and end extinction, and care of numerous animals. From giraffe, cheetah, white rhinos, buffalo,Atwater Prairie chickens, raptors, tourtoise, zebra, ostrich, mexican gray wolf, and many many more. They have a petting pasture/education center, scenic drive thru the park,2 gift shops, restaurant, lodge and foothills safari camp. They arrange behind the scene tours, have a yearly Bike the Rim,etc. You have to see it to believe it.We have about six of our volunteers who also volunteer/work here as guides or employees. They also have an Overlook area where you can get out of your car to stretch and enjoy the beautiful view.I love it and would go everyday if I could!!

    Drive through,feed the animals,shop,eat

A bit of a drive, but well worth it!
