We have been using Fallon Vet and Dr. Doug for over 17 years, ever since we moved to Fallon. He has treated numerous dogs and cats, always with great care and empathy. We have little dogs and one of my concerns is for their health when it comes to their shots, and he has suggestions even bbefore I can ask the questions, like when it came time for puppy shots and rabies, he suggested giving the puppy shot, but waiting a week to give the rabies shot so they wouldn't overlap and lose some of their effectiveness as we have such small dogs(under 7 lbs) When one of our dogs had cancer, he treated him with lots of patience, refered him when neccessary, listened to my concerns, and when I dicided not to go the chemo route supported my decision thourouly. I think it's the best place to take a pet and have complete confidence in their care.

    Pros

    Great empathy with animals

    Cons

    Little bit more expensive

I love Dr. Moore's office! When I call with a question, the staff is courteous and knowledgable. Dr. Moore is great with all my animals and shows real concern. Although he has admitted to not knowing much about rats, he is eager to learn. It is nice to have a vet that understands he doesn't know everything. Vets who pretend to know everything and treat rats like they are the same as cats can cause real harm. Bravo to Dr. Moore for his honesty and desire to keep learning. I highly recommend him to all pet owners.

    Pros

    Excellent staff, caring, knowlegable

    Cons

    Little knowledge on small animals
