This is one of the nicer dog parks in Denver. It's not too far from me, so I'll try it when I get my next doggie!

It's a great little get-away for us when Beethoven's feeling stir-crazy. Nice to have the parking lot close in the winter time cause my girls like to run back to the car to snuggle in blankets and keep warm while I get Beethoven some exercise.

    Pros

close-by parking so my kids can run to the car to warm up in the winter

    Cons

    none

  • 5. Great off leash park

This is a great park and very popular. It is north on Windemere from Belleview, between Broadway and Sante Fe. There is a great (easy )trail that goes by the off-leash park. It is called the Belleview Nature Trail adn I beleive the trail head is just a bit North on Windemere between W. Layton and W. Chenango. It is a loop "through natural open space" so you can start and finish at the off-leash park. Dogs need leashes on the trail. Just to the East of the dog park is Belleview Park, which is a popular "kids park". I have a boxer and almost everytime I go I see another boxer there. I sometimes even seen signs for a 'boxer meet-up". Must be something in the water. \r\n

    Pros

    large, shade, sitting

    Cons

    no water
