Late one Sunday night my Curr dog was rushed to the emergency clinic where she had exploratory surgery to remove the cotton from a bed spread that she had eaten several days earlier. The emergency clinic closed at 8am Monday morning and they instructed us to take Cindy to our normal vet. Upon arrival to our normal vet we were informed that they did not have a Dr. on Monday. My husband and me had seen this new vet building that had opened several months earlier so we took her there. They examined her and informed us it was in her best interest for her to stay for a few days to be watched. They kept Cindy Monday and Tuesday, I was worried sick because Cindy is very shy and timid and I did not think that she would eat in this strange surroundings.
The girls there would hand feed her so she would eat. They took extra time to make sure she was comfortable, and understood her special circumstance. On Tuesday when I went to bring her home, she was happy as could be. She even went over to the girls to say goodbye. It was as if my Cindy who is afraid of everything, had overcome her fear.
There was a slight issue with the bill, but it was quickly resolved, as an oversight when it was added up.
All in all great experience, hopefully won't have to do it again. My poor baby has an 8 inch incision on her belly. But the staff there took excellent care of her.
