Until now I have taken any foster dog in need of grooming to a groomer and paid for this myself. Some dogs that come to the shelter are so severely matted that "grooming" is not even possible. The dog needs to be stripped/shaved and then let their coat start all over. As a foster and owner of some long haired dogs, these mats can pull and be very painful, not to mention the filth that can be trapped in them.\nEmily has now Generously donated her services, totally free of charge, to the WCAHS for these dogs that come in such conditions.\nThis is so helpful to the dogs as sometimes funding is not available at that time. Now we can make these dogs clean and comfortable right away without worry of having the resources to help them.\nEmily has been grooming dogs for at least 25 years, that I know of, in her home. My son also worked for her for a time and she was also a wonderful employer. She was kind, compassionate, patient, and willing to work around his school schedule. As an employee, he never had anything but good thins to say about her. She is an awesome lady, employer, and groomer!
