  • 1. Fantastic Cats Looking for Forever Homes!

    by: Healey

I have been volunteering at this shelter since November, and I can honestly say it is one of the best in the area. We are always super clean (depending on how many volunteers we have and how busy it is at the time), and everyone is there for one reason: to help these wonderful cats find homes. As a non-profit and no-kill shelter, there are no paid employees. Everyone there is a volunteer sharing his/her time to help the kitties. I adopted my middle cat Yoshi from the CCC almost four years ago (this was back when it was operating out of Trudy's house!), and I recently adopted Thudley from the shelter. I cannot tell you how much joy it has brought in my life to know I am making a difference in these animals' lives. Come down and visit the kitties, or even adopt one; you never know when you might find your next family member!

    Pros

Friendly staff, clean, healthy kitties, nice set-up, able to actually play with kitties

    Cons

In desperate need of even more reliable volunteers
