  • 1. Nice stay

We've spent a total of about 2 weeks at this hoel recently. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in one of the large "family suites" (2 room suite with king bed/living room area with sofa sleeper/separate bedroom with bunk beds). We had a mini fridge and microwave.\r\n\r\nPets are allowed. Although we didn't bring ours this time. Looks like there's a small grassy area along the side of the parking lot.\r\n\r\nComplimentary breakfast is included with the usual pastries, fruit, etc. and a couple hot dishes and make-your-own Belgian waffles. Breakfast is from 6 am till 10 am.\r\n\r\nThe hotel looks new and is very nice--nice lobby with fireplace and they have a big screen theater room where you can choose from their DVD library and watch movies in big comfy sofas--they even provide popcorn. All no charge.\r\n\r\nPool and whirlpool are clean and nice. Pool was at a nice temperature. Work out room is adjacent and has a couple windows so you can see outside or into the pool area. They had 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical trainers, and a weight lifting unit.\r\n\r\nThe sofa sleeper was awful, as they usually are. We used it a few nights for our youngest child but also got a roll-away for part of the time. Roll-away was much better.\r\n\r\nBathroom was pretty spacious. Granite counter top, massaging shower head.\r\n\r\nHotel is not far from a highway, but it is down the hill quite a ways and we didn't hear any highway noise at all even though we faced that direction.\r\n\r\nThe staff seemed friendly. We didn't have any problems. \r\n\r\nThere's only one internet-connected computer and it's at a desk area in the main lobby. No business center. Bring your own laptop for the room if you want to be on it very much. Wireless access included with room. They do charge a small fee for local calls.\r\n\r\nHere's a tip--call the hotel directly and negotiate a better rate. They will deal on the price.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
