  • 2. Cedar Animal Clinic is the Best!

    by: RaidersMom

I am so glad we found this clinic. Even though we live in a different county, it is worth the drive to see these wonderful people. They will clip your pet's nails for free. You just bring them in and someone will take them to the back and take care of it for you. Fantastic! I love all the doctors and assistants in this clinic. They are all very caring people.

    Pros

    Very helpful, lots of staff

  • 6. People should be so lucky

    by: BabsH

If people could have Dr.'s like Kyle and Heather we would all be better off. I have never called that I did not receive a call back in a very timely manner (no matter what time of day or night), or if it was something that needed to be seen at their office, I have always been seen. Thank you Kyle and Heather

    Pros

    Knowledgeable, caring, all positive

  • 8. Top Notch Vet!

    by: sarah2cute

Dr. C has been the family vet for many years, he is a fantastic guy and an even greater vet! He always takes great care of our pets (2 dogs, 3 cats). And they now even offer grooming! My only problem is that he is not always available and sometimes I have to settle on seeing Dr. Heather who also works in his office, but I am not crazy about her! All in all I trust no one else with my pets!

    Pros

Very quick service, always available, very well priced, they now even offer grooming!

    Cons

Not always able to see Dr. C himself.

  • 9. Great Vet!

    by: heatherzilla

We love Cedar Animal Hospital. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Both Kyle and Heather are awesome vets who care about their patients. I called the answering service number at 3:00 on a Saturday morning to see if I could bring my foster kittens in at 8:00. I was connected to the vet, who told me exactly what I needed to do. Then she called me when they opened to see how the kittens were doing and see if I needed to bring them in. Also, they are very accommodating. All of my foster kitties go to Cedar. The ladies at the desk always fit me in when needed and always get a late appointment for me so that I don't have to miss too much time from work.

    Pros

    Knowledgeable, Friendly

    Cons

    none

  • 11. Doc is all for the animals!

    by: dstrykr

When I first started adopting pets from the Liberty Humane Shelter (Hinesville, GA), they used Dr. C. for spay and neuter procedures. I adopted several cats and took them to Dr. C. to have them fixed and they always came home healthy and awake from the surgery. On one trip, his staff showed me a cat they were looking to place. Her name was Aspin and she was so terrified. I held her in my arms and told them to go ahead a get her tested, shots and spayed and I would pick her and my other cat up the next day. I told them to put her treatment on my bill. I arrived the next day to find out that Doc had paid everything himself on Aspin's care. Most vets won't take in a stray, find it a home and pay all expenses for it. That's says a lot about Doc, now doesn't it!

    Pros

Wonderful, giving vet who cares very much about animals

    Cons

    None

  • 12. A wonderful vet everyone can count on!

    by: libertyshelter

While Dr. Christiansen is in Richmond Hill at Cedar Animal Hospital just outside of Hinesville, many of our adopters visit his clinic. We have personally been there. It is extremely clean and animal friendly. Dr. Christiansen has done many great things for the animal welfare organizations we work closely with, donating his time and experience all for the love he has for animals.

    Pros

Clean facility, polite staff and very experienced and caring vet!

    Cons

    None

  • 13. One of the most caring vets I've ever met!

    by: TypoFairy

I took Mouse to Dr. Christiansen when my husband and I first PCS'd to GA. She had just had knee surgery on both her knees two weeks prior and the vet that performed the surgery was back home in NC. I called ahead and they were quick to get her in and didn't charge a new patient fee that some do. When we walked in they were kind and fawned over the little 4lb mouse with sutures in her knees. I could tell they were taking good care of her. When we were taken back to the exam room it was mere minutes before the doctor came in. He talked to me, talked to her and looked at her knees to make sure the surgery was done right. She wasn't upset in the slightest ( she's a chihuahua, they tend to be a little shaky at times lol). And not long after he came in everything was done. The suture removal was free even though they didn't do the surgery! The only thing I paid for was flea drops and they were the same price as 1800 petmeds.

    Pros

Very friendly, quick service, clean and comfortable enviroment, they speak in terms I can understand, reasonably priced

    Cons

It's a bit of a drive from post
