I use to board my dogs at this kennel. When I picked up my Dogs they seemed very skinney. When I commented on their apperance the person at the desk made me feel as though I was a faulth. So now I travel with my animals.

I boarded my dog here for one week over the summer. He came back very skinny, and sick. I had to pay the vet to try to get him better and we never found out what he had. Also I paid etxra to have them play with him and I dont think they ever let him out of the pen. He came home very SAD ! DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    unfriendly.... everything

While I have heard mixed reviews about Cassio, our neighbors have left their dogs there over the years and seem to be very pleased with it. I would think the proximity to their home placed more importantly than any great results they may have had, but they are still using it.

    Convenient to us in Newtown

When I first came to Danbury I needed to find a new kennel for an upcoming trip. Because it was summer most kennels were full, but Cassio had space. I didn't necessailry take that as a good sign - why would they have space when no one else did? - but I was out of options. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the facilities were nice, the staff was friendly, and they clearly knew what they were doing. Ferris seemed to enjoy his time there, as much as a dog enjoys being away from home, and he was none the worse for wear. I have since used another kennel closer to my house and will definitely be going back to Cassio. It is worth the extra travel time.\r\n\r\nWe are now planning on taking Ferris for the training classes at Cassio and can't wait to get started.

lots of options, training classes, in-house vet clinic

Our dogs have taken obedience and agility classes at Cassio Kennels for over 5 years. The staff at the kennels have been very helpful. The instructors are excellent. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals.

    Clean, well staffed, good classes
