    by: kmcanallen

I love this vet. The people there are friendly and they treat the animals very well. However, claysville is out of the way unless you live there.

    Pros

Clean Facility, the people remember you when you haven't seen them for a year.

    Cons

Out of the way to get to.

  • 2. Caring and professional

I had no problem getting my dog in as new a client. Some vets have made me feel like me and my pets are walking ATM's, but you could tell the staff here actually enjoys working with animals.

    Cons

in small out of the way town

The Claysville Vet Practice is great, I've had to call in or take my pets in several times for various reasons and they just couldn't be more caring or helpful. I got lucky having such a great Vet Clinic so close to home!

  • 5. Awesome Vet

    by: wjmoore17

This place makes taking the pets to the vet enjoyable. It's in a convenient place right in downtown Claysville, (yeah I said "downtown" Claysville) the staff is great, the place is cheery, and the orange cat that lives there is funny. When Dr. Belleville moved out of Washington down to Claysville, we followed. He's a great vet, and our dogs love getting to go there.

    Pros

Place is clean, service is amazing

    Cons

    None at all

  • 6. Great Staff

    by: SUZADEGA

One of Dr Belleville's wonderful staff members is our shih tzu's personal dog sitter and has become the princess of this wonderful office whenever she visits. This is a very caring and knowledgable staff.

    Pros

    Small hometown, personalized care

    Cons

    Location in a small community

  • 7. Perfect Vet

    by: tlev74

I used this vet and changed to someone closer, but after my dog became ill last month... I went back. The hours are wonderful.... the staff is terrific. They care... they know what they are doing and if it weren't for them my dog wouldn't be with me right now... they saved her life. They also called many times after she came home to check on her... very thoughtful... with such a busy schedule... was very satisfying and touching to think they thought enough to do that. I found out on my last visit that my neighbors also use this vet and are very pleased as well.... woulnd't leave again if my life depended on it. I'll drive a few extra miles just to go here.

    Pros

    Great hours.... very caring

    Cons

    none

  • 8. Claysville Animal Care is truly "the caring place".

    by: grandmakaren

When I have to take my cats to the Clinic I am pleased with the care they receive and the respect shown to me. My cat Peaches is diabetic and everyone shows concern for her and are willing to answer any questions I might have. Claysville Animal Care Vets & techs are the best and I recommend them to all of my family and friends when asked for a Vet referral. They have come to the rescue of several of my friends when an emergency arose and their Vet was not available. They truly care about the healthcare of our animal friends.

    Pros

They love animals and are excellent healthcare providers.

    Cons

    none

  • 10. A caring facility

    by: NancyV

Dr. Belleville cares about the animals he sees and takes the time to work with the family as well.\r\nThey are not at all insecure about referring to other facilities when they are not able to handle a problem. Their recommendations have been very good.\r\n\r\nThe staff are also good. It's easy to see that they like animals. While they are not perfect, it is nice to be able to go somewhere and be assured that questions will be answered and my dog is in good hands.

    Pros

They are caring and knowledgeable, but willing to refer

    Cons

Hours a bit of a challenge sometimes

Dr. Belleville and his staff are very knowledgeable and kind. I have had several emergencies and just routine visits with him. He and the staff are courteous, understanding, and very willing to help. They show compassion and make every attempt to be comforting in what are sometimes heart breaking situations.

  • 12. My friends vet

    by: stevier

I do not go to this Vet but my friend does and has for years. She is very pleased with the care she receives for her dogs and cats both. I took her toy poodle pup here one time when she was sick and the girls were so nice to her. This is a little further away for me than it is for her. Many people are happy with this vet.

    Pros

    Very caring

    Cons

    None

  • 13. Competent, but expensive

    by: rxlady

I have used many vets in my area because I foster a lot of animals, and these folks are very competent. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I do however think that they offer unecessary tests and diagnostics, when common sense would do the trick. A lot of times they offer tests in older animals, when the results would not allow for anything other than an untreatable diagnosis. What's the point??

    Pros

Convenient, and good hours of operation

    Cons

    Very expensive.

  • 14. Claysville Animal Care is great

    by: RoxieP

The staff & vets are super. They've gone through so much with me, from my diabetic Regan in 2001 to my asthmatic Madison in 2007. I can't say enough good about everyone there. I've always been comfortable with the care they provide. They continue to take exemplary care of my brood and are pleasant, knowledgeable, accommodating & kind; I couldn't ask for more. They go above & beyond.

    Pros

all vets & staff: kindess, knowledge, empathetic

    Cons

    no cons

  • 15. Awesome vet

    by: cfrancis2003

I really like this vet, my cat Trouble broke his leg a few years back and they were so great with me and my cat. They fixed his broken leg and they let me make payments because i didn't have all the funds for the surgery. My cat since then has been doing great and his leg has healed completely you would never know it was fractued. \r\nI also had to take my dushound carmel to the vet about 1 year ago she sprained her leg and they helped out with that too, they are a great bunch of people there and i recommend them to anyone in the Washington area.

    Pros

they are very good with you and your pets

    Cons

Cant think of any at this moment

  • 16. eric belleville is great

I have taken my pets here for years and I love the care that my pets get there but I do think they've gotten a little bit expensive over the years. If money isn't an issue for you though by all means go here and ask for Eric because he's the best!

    Pros

    everyone is super friendly

    Cons

    prices seem a little much
