This is the place for you if you LOVE Beagles! However, don't count them out if you're looking for something else- my niece wanted a beagle, and they went looking and she came home from Beagles & Buddies with, well, a Buddy of a Beagle as her dog is a German Shepherd mix. They LOVE dogs, and there is no other way to say it. They are a no kill sanctuary that relies on donations and volunteers to save these animals. Some have been there for many years, as if they don't get adopted, they have a forever home here. Definitely check them out at www.beaglesandbuddies.com

Thank you Beagles and Buddies. When we adopted our Beagle at Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption center they mentioned that someone was scheduled to come get him, but since we were willing to give him a perminant home he was good to go! When he got sick the day we got him home and struggled with our local vet who we have been going to for many years, we weren't sure where to turn. Your staff recommended Alhambra Vet Hospital and Dr Henstra who has helped your rescue animals for the last 12 years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. While our local vet wanted to put our Beagle down with the diagnosis that he has several enlarged organs and could not be saved Dr Henstra immediately determined after careful review of the same x-ray's that our new pup only had phenominia. Whew! He was saved with some additional antibiotics and we have a healthy happy pup now. Thank you for the referal, without your help we didn't know where to turn. Congrats to Dr Henstra that saved our little Lou's life!

I traveled to California last March and took a day to visit with the folks at this rescue. Everyone I met was so nice and they spent a few hours meeting with me and giving me a personal tour of their rescue. I met so many really neat dogs and check out their website several times a week to check up on my new friends. They have a wonderful adoption rate and I was amazed by the numbers of adopters and volunteers that were there that day. A weekday too!\r\nIf you are ever in the area and in need of a dog I would highly recommend stopping in and talking with these folks. I intent to make another trip out there this year to volunteer with them for a bit. They take such great care of all of the animals while they await new families!

    Pros

Rescue high, at risk dogs of all kinds, primarily beagles

    Cons

    NONE, they are awesom
