I work for arlington animal service for 19 yrs. I started out as a Kennel tech for 5 yrs. Now I am animal service inspection. Alot has change here since I have been with the animal Services. We are moving to a new Shelter next year in spring. I can't wait to see the new shelter. We have been working soo hard to get new shelter for about 10 years and finally we have new shelter building right now. It will be in south arlington off green oaks between Craven park and collins. Also we will have a dog parks next to the new shelter. We have alots of dogs and cats need homes. We take donations for anything you can help with cruelty, blankets, dog & cat foods, help animals that needs medical attention, and etc.

These people work hard. I know they have a full plate. I missed out on an adoption because someone in the facility had a friend who wanted the same dog I did.\r\n\r\nThe supervisor gave me a free certificate for another dog adoption-but it is not worth the paper it is printed on. Written guidelines aren't followed. The only way the gift certificate would be meaningful is if the dog was adoptable the time you were there and no one else apparently wants it.
