Nice, clean place. They seem to need more help from the public, though. They are doing a good job.

    Pros

    Nice, clean place

    Cons

    They seem to need help

This group does a good job of getting their shelter dogs ready for adoption through training and interaction. As a prospective adopter, I felt I was being examined with a very critical eye, but only because the staff care about finding the best homes for the animals.

    Pros

They do a good job with training when dogs are not adopted right away.

    Cons

They are a little bit cold towards prospective adopters.

When I lived in Scotia I was familiar with this facility when it was new. It was very impressive from the human asthetic standpoint, but what bothered me was that not all dog runs had access to the outside, grass, fresh air, etc.

    Pros

    Accessible

    Cons

Not all dog cages lead outside
