    by: bailley29

we trapped many cats for the spay/nueter program. they were very helpful and made the hard work pay off. they cared for all the ferals, made sure they were comfortable and cared about. when we find baby kittens or cats that are friendly they will take them in, care for them and help them get the wonderful homes they deserve. Joan is a very caring animal lover, her staff diane, lindsey made us feel very welcome and did all they could to make the day go easier. they care about the animals, they are no-kill (yeah) and they help find all the animals loving homes. from the cats to the dogs they are well cared for and do so far beyond anything to find loving homes for all of them. the feral tnr program has helped the community and these cats. the vets on there own time come in to do surgerys to help the feral community. if anyone wants to adopt there best friend go to animal lovers league, you wont be sorry.

  • 3. Best Shelter- Animal Lovers League

    by: MrsKFC

they are wonderful. I have adopted both my cats from them and could not ask for anything more than what i recieved. The cats are friendly, loving, and came from a wonderful shelter. Everyone at the shelter was helpful and let my husband and I take our time going through all of the felines. There was no rushing us through it at all. It is a wonderful experience every time i go there.

    Pros

very helpful, positive, loving, caring people. clean and stable shelter for all these animals. open 7 days also.

As stated in my pros, The staff truly cares about the adopted animals and the "new" family!! They are knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a wonderful program to help control the population of feral cats. They "trap", "fix" and release. : )

    Pros

The staff truly cares! are helpful, and are conscientious about animal population control.

  • 5. Seems like a nice place

    by: ilovemybacon

I went to this shelter once...I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd check it out. It was immaculately clean...and there were many cats in cages and loose in the front. When I asked to see the dogs they were kind of like...uh..ok. There was one sweet little pittie who had been there for over a year. When I checked her profile on line...they had her down as a boy. With so few dogs to keep track of...they should at least be able to get the sex right. But other then that..the place was nice and the people were nice. The little pittie is not on petfinder any more....so I hope she/he found a home.

    Pros

They seem to really care about the cats.

    Cons

I'm not so sure they do their best for the dogs.
