The vets at Animal Hospital took very good care of my Corgi several years back, including removing her kidney stones the size of marbles twice!

    Good staff

My mom takes her pets to this vet and has always been happy with their service. Also when her dog passed away around Christmas time everyone was very sympathetic and caring.

My normal vet office was closed and I needed more medication. I stopped in and explained my situation. They were great. Very helpful and friendly. Would go back for sure if it wasn't for my other vet.

    Very helpful

  • 5. Wonderful Vet!

Dr. Smith is a wonderful vet! I have taken my cats and dogs there for years and he is wonderful to them every time! When I walk in with one of the cats in my arms, they don't try to run and don't mind being there. The exam room is very big so I can have all of my cats there at once for check ups and vaccinations and they can just roam freely around the room while they wait.

    Friendly, Caring, Office Hours, Cost

I use Dr. Smith as an alternative to my other veterinarian in Washington, MO. Dr. Smith is a very gentle vet. He shows his compassion through his office visit with you. He explains things for you so that you understand them. His rates are very reasonable and he is conveniently located in Washington. I believe he is one of the oldest veterinary offices in Washington. \r\n\r\nI loved the care and attention that he gave my shepard mix (Sampson). Samspon has had two bad accidents. One was when he had his chin ripped apart somehow. I took him in to Dr. Smith and was concerned with the cosmetic results that would occur because of the severity of Sampson's injury. Dr. Smith did a wonderful job and today you can hardly tell that his chin was totally ripped apart. The second accident was when Sampson was in a terrible fight and needed several stitches all over his body. Dr. Smith did a fantastic job stitching Sampson. When some of the stitches came out, Dr. Smith restitched Sampson and met me to pick up Sampson when the office was actually closed. I boarded Sampson there for a week and the staff took good care of him. \r\n\r\nOn another occassion, I had a cat which passed away by the time I reached Dr. Smith's office one morning. The staff was very caring at the time. They allowed me to stay with the cat after it had passed for as long as I needed. But it was what happened afterward that was most memorable for me. They sent me a really nice card in the mail expressing their sympathy for the loss of my pet. It was handwritten which was very personable. I really thought that was a nice gesture for a vet to take the time to write a sympathy card and send it to the pet's owner.\r\n\r\nOverall, I now have two great vets that I take my animals to. I am always confident that I will get good service and complete answers when I have an issue with one of my pets. And his prices are reasonable which really makes a difference when you have a lot of pets like I do.

Great service, reasonable rates, caring doctor and staff
