    by: scierpic

I volunteer at A Helping Paw. Its mission is unique and important - to heal the bodies and minds of unwanted animals so they can be adopted into loving homes, and to provide a safe and secure home for pets that cannot be adopted out. AHP also provides many pet-related services to the community, such as spay/neuter certificates and a pet food pantry. Please stop by and take a look around! There are windows into the kitty rooms from the attached thrift shop. Pick up something cool and vintage, and your purchase will help the pets!

    Pros

Every animal gets help, no matter its behavior, age, or ailments

    Cons

The shelter doesn't have enough money to operate to its full potential.
