Twitter has just gotten a little bit cattier.

Sockington the cat -- @Sockington on Twitter -- has officially passed the 500,000 follower milestone and is well on his way to one million.

With musings like "lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick lick OK CLEAN wait missed a spot lick lick lick" and "DON'T WRITE A CHECK YOUR CAN OF TUNA CAN'T CASH what am I saying cans of tuna are always good for it MUNCH MUNCH,” it's no wonder this gray kitty with white spots has the attention of Twitter followers around the world.

Sockington lives in Massachusetts with his human Jason Scott, who, among other things, runs Textfiles.com. So watch out Oprah and Ashton Kutcher, Sockington is on the prowl.

Oh, and speaking of Twitter, stay up to date with everything pet related and follow us @PetMD.
