1. Baby is most likely my other rescued mini schnauzer's sister. I got them both at the same time from the pound. They were likely from a puppy mill. They had been abandoned and were covered with brown ticks when they came in, so likely in the forest area or in the desert. They had been out for about a couple of weeks when someone dropped them off. Baby is a little bit slow mentally but ever so sweet. All she cares about is being loved and getting to eat. She doesn't play much, but once in awhile she tries to get into the play with the other dogs. She has always been chunky even if she is on a strict diet. I am 72 and partly disabled, so difficult for me to do a lot physically with her like long walks, but they do have a yard and get outside and play or just walk around, and I try hard to play with them inside. Most of all, I just love them and keep them safe, cooking their food for them and doing my best to keep them all healthy. They are my family, and I worry about what will happen to them when I am gone. I want them to stay together because they all love each other.
