Misty is a 3-4 year old who lived with an elderly couple in Arizona. One of her owners died and the other was then moved into a convalescent home. She spent most of her life as an outdoor dog. She has an amazingly beautiful, soft, luscious coat despite liviing outside. She has now moved in with a family member in CA who didn't want this beautiful girl to end up in a shelter where she would have been euthanized as she is on the quiet and more timid side with strangers. She's basically known her elderly family only and is just now meeting new folks. Ironically her favorite person has become a 19 year old male in the foster home. She also lives with a younger boy who she loves as well. She is now an indoor dog in her new foster home. She is no longer an outdoor dog.

Misty previously lived with a large breed female dog. She is not as crazy aobut the smaller breed dog she currently lives with so she will need to meet and greet if there is a dog in her new home. She is also a candidate to be a single dog. She is not a barker so despite her size, because of her low key temperament she can be an option for an apartment or condo setting. She has learned to walk on a leash and though tthe outside and all the sites and sounds are new to her, she is adjusting. She's learning to live a whole new life outside the backyard she always lived in. Her new home will be able to give this girl the greatet gift of a new life because she has had so little and expects so little and so anything she is offered is most likely more than she has ever had...we want to offer her the world and find that one in a million home...
