Rosie ~ Sweet Companion

Cocker Spaniel
English Springer Spaniel, Mix

An adotable dog in Grass Valley, CA

  • Adult
  • Medium
  • Female

Rosie is a sweet, friendly, affectionate love bug! She loves people and would make a wonderful companion for someone who walks daily and likes a playful pup. She's medium energy, listens well and (again) loves being around people!

Rosie is a Cocker Spaniel/Springer Spaniel mix. She's smaller than medium, about 18 - 20 lbs. She's 7 yrs old with a medium length, white and liver spotted coat. She eats well, Natural Balance brand, and should be on a quality dog food due to some mild allergies.

Rosie enjoys her daily walks, about a mile a day, and does well on a leash. She loves riding in the car and is a well behaved co-pilot. She is house trained and uses a doggie door. At night, she does need help outside because she is visually impaired. We are not sure why, but she doesn't see as well at night.

Rosie is an alpha. She has some prey drive that does not show up all the time, so a home without smaller dogs is best for her. We are not sure about dogs her size or larger. She does fine around cats and ignores them. We have not observed Rosie around small children so to be safe, no small children in her family.

Rosie is spayed, micro chipped and current on vaccinations.
