An adotable dog in Philadelphia, PA
Well hi there! I'm Max. I am a 4 year old suave and debonair pug . While I am a returned almuni to Snort, it was not to be with my family as they were overwhelmed with furkids and they thought it best I find a home to give me the best chance.
I LOVE other dogs but we are not sure about cats. Kids I can handle, I do great at my foster home with their 6 year old.
I'm a fairly laid back kind of guy who loves to play. I love to cuddle with my pack (people and dogs) as well as lick them and am submissive. Take me for a walk around and some time to play with toys and I'm good for a while. I really love to play tug of war with a stuffy. I'm happy to please you and will follow you everywhere you go! My only play issue for some maybe that I like to play wrestle a hand into submission. My foster family is working on this habit to help break it.
I am housebroken and I do okay in a crate, although I whimper when I'm in there for a bit. I am missing teeth and my tongue hangs out so feeding me alone instead of with the rest of the pack is best as it takes me some time to eat.
Any home would be good for me apartment or house. Although I am fine being alone I would prefer a person who works some/partial days or even take me to work with you! I crave company so Id love to be with you as much as possible.
I'd make an excellent therapy dog if you wanted to train me - I love people that much.
