Seal - Adopted

Kuvasz

An adotable dog in Erin, ON

  • Young
  • Extra Large
  • Male

Seal is a Slovensky Cuvac (pronounced chew-votch), which is a Slovak breed of dog, originally bred for use as a livestock guard dog. Cuvac dogs take their watchdog role very seriously and are fiercely protective of their property, family, and even other household pets.

Seal is eight months old and is a happy, social and active dog. He knows the commands of sit and come and appears very willing to learn more. He walks reasonably well on a leash, however, as a young dog he pulls and bounces. Further leash training will correct this. Seal will do best with a family that has lots of a space and a large yard as Cuvac dogs need a lot of room to move, both indoors and out.

More information about this breed is available on the Dogtime website at http://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/kuvasz.
