An adotable dog in Millerstown, PA

HI. My name is Pinto. I am a HANDSOME, young boxer boy! I would like to tell you about myself, if I may.

First, I will start with the fact that I do not hear well which is a genetic issue that we white boxers sometimes have. Perhaps this is why I was dropped off and forgotten? Maybe my previous owners did not know I needed special work and they couldn't understand why I wouldn't listen? BUT, I will listen if you are willing to teach me with hand signals and such. I know I have a goofy look to my face, but I am NOT a dumb boy! I can learn if you are willing to work with me and be patient. Not only am I hard of hearing, but I am also a bit sloppy. I drool when I am nervous and here at the kennel, that is often because I am still trying to understand what is going on. I am catching on though. I'm also a bit of a crier and a whiner, but again, this is because I am scared, nervous and unsure. Being here is kind of hard on a guy, ya know? I would rather live in a house with the people than have to be out in the kennel, but the people here are doing their best to make me feel comfortable.

Now on to the good stuff: I am tidy in my kennel, although I did have 1 accident my first night here, but nothing since. I have made some new friends with some of the dogs here and I am good with kids. I have not met the cats yet but I think I will like cats once I do. I am learning to walk better on a leash. I am not a destructive guy. I have not yet shown interest in toys but if you work with me I am sure I can learn. OH and I do impressions. You know the movie "Turner and Hooch"? Well, if you look at the third picture you will see my HOOCH impression! See I have talent! I hope we can be friends. Talk soon.
