An adotable dog in Millerstown, PA
Hi. They call me Gremlin or Gremmy here, but don't worry, I won't multiply when I get wet. Nor will I become nasty after a midnight snack! I am named after the car not the critter. Thank you for giving me a look. I am thankful for any kindness shown to me. I am a mixed breed dog, approx. 10 years old. I have been chained outside for a long time. I arrived here with a bad UTI, but that has since been cleared up and I am feeling pretty good! My first few days here, I would bury my food each time because I didn't know when more would come my way. But now I understand I don't have to do that anymore. I was very timid upon arrival, but kind hands and words are bringing me out of my shell. I am learning I do not need to cringe and cower when someone reaches out with a hand. I now know this is a good thing and I am learning to enjoy a simple, kind petting. I am still a bit wary with fast movements though and smaller, energetic kids scare me. That being said, I would probably much rather live in a home where there are older, calmer kids. I came here with my beagle buddy, Forester. He too is available for adoption. I am OK with some other dogs, but I am not sure about cats. I will certainly get back to you about them. OK? The people here tell me I am a very sweet, beauty. I do not bark much, but every once in a great while I do come up with something to say. Normally I like to listen instead of speaking. I am looking forward to having a peaceful, warm and comfy place to live out the rest of my years. Some place were I can love someone and be loved back. I am not destructive, noisy or messy. Instead, I am a sweet, quiet and loving girl. I do enjoy walks, but it seems I have a bad knee. It is from an old injury that was not taken care of so jogging and hiking are really not for me. Just leisurely walks. If you are looking for a companion that would be happy to be by your side while you read a book or watch TV, that would be me! I do not ask for much, really. Just food in my belly and a loving hand. OK?
