Maggie May

Scottish Terrier Scottie

An adotable dog in Rockaway, NJ

  • Young
  • Medium
  • Female

Maggie May is the newest addition to the STCGNY Rescue family. She's a very pretty, 4 year old, black, female, Scottish Terrier.

We are looking for a scottie experienced family who knows the scottie personality type and will embrace it!. Maggie is a nice girl, just the right combination of being independent and wanting your attention. She loves to sit in my lap when I'm on the pc and to lay next to me or even on my head while I'm watching tv on the couch. She really does want to be with you as much as possible. She is strong and athletic and will fill your home with the love and personality as only a scottie can do.

She's friendly to people. We are slowly trying to integrate her in with the other dogs in her foster home to see how she will do, but she would be happiest as an only pet in her new home. She will not be OK with cats, we already do have experience with that and it's the main reason she's with us now. We are currently getting to know her better while she's in foster, so we can update this description better in time. She is very well housebroken and has a great appetite. Maggie May is on the larger side in size.

MM has just been spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm/lyme tested negative, groomed, and healthy. She's currently available for adoption. If anyone is interested in learning more about MM, please contact Erica Cerny at [email protected] or 973-361-6790. She is being fostered in southern NY.
