An adotable dog in Medford, NJ
Randy is a 12 year old Lhasa Poo (Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix) who was surrendered to a local shelter after having the same home his whole life when his owners could no longer afford to care for him. He is now in foster care and can be pretty spunky for his age! Randy has dry eye, a condition fairly common with dogs of his breed and age. He will be on a once daily medication for that for the remainder of his life. Randy likes to snuggle with you in your lap and is good with other animals as well. He'll do best in a low key home with people who will love him for as long as he has left! Randy deserves a great home, please contact us if you'd like to meet him!
In order to adopt one of our dogs, you will need to first fill out an adoption application. This allows us to get to know you, your family, and any current animals you may already have. We use your application and follow up phone call to determine which one of our dogs would best suit you.
If we do not have an animal that meets what you are looking for, let us know! We would be happy to point you in the right direction to other rescues and shelters who may have what you're looking for.
Once your application is approved, we will arrange for a home check and a sleepover. We feel that it is very important for adopters to take their potential animal on a sleepover, whether it's just for one night or for a few days, to make sure that that animal truly will be a good match. We'd much rather you realize the animal might not be the right one before you finalize the adoption.
We also require that dogs adopted under 2 years of age go through some type of training with their new owners within 6 months of adoption. We believe that a little bit of training will help strengthen the bond between owner and dog and also lessen the chance of a returned adoption.
For puppies under 6 months old, there is a $300 adoption fee. For dogs older than 6 months, there is a $250 adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, given all requires vaccinations, and micro-chipped before going home.
Please be aware that All They Need is Love Animal Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the animal you are interested in.
