Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie
Keeshond, Mix

An adotable dog in Baltimore, MD

  • Adult
  • Medium
  • Male

Joey is a 3 1/2 year old (as of 5/31) Sheltie mix who weighs about 40 pounds. He is really an affectionate boy who loves to snuggle and roll over for belly rubs. Joey does well with cats and other dogs, but he really loves his human companion(s) most of all. He will follow you like a shadow from room to room. Joey could benefit from some basic obedience training, but overall he is well-behaved and laid back. He doesn't demand your attention, rarely barks, likes to go for walks but doesn't have the stamina for long distances, and he would do fine in an apartment or a house. He would prefer a home without young children, but he would be fine with mature, respectful children over the age of 12. Despite being a big fuzz ball, he doesn't shed very much and enjoys being stroked with a brush :). Joey has been a delight to foster, so we know he will soon find a loving forever family to spend his days with. Could you be the lucky person/family?? Fill out an application today!
