An adotable dog in Lake Stevens, WA
This cutie patootie is between 1 and 2 years old, weighing in at 52 lbs.YES, Blanca can hear. Blanca is fostered in Lake Stevens, WA and well trained. She is great with people and kids and sweet as she can be!
She gets along with MOST other dogs she meets. I would not call her dog aggressive so much as dog selective. She does not do well with small breed dogs, does great with most all boxers. though she has decided that her and my girl Bree are not best of friends, so as long as I am supervising they are fine, I just wouldn't leave them unattended (mind you, I have 6 dogs, she just selected Bree as her least favorite She LOVES my 6 month old pup Kate. They are like peas and carrots. She is good with kids, and knows basic obedience like walking loose on a leash, she sits, she downs, on your bed and down and wait, wait at doorways. She loves her food. Never misses a meal, and if she does you know she isn't feeling well. She is very nice though, no food aggression. She is great in a crate.
The ideal home for her would have no other dogs, or a compatible neutral companion ( not too submissive or she would take advantage, not overly rambunctious or dominant or she may decide she doesn't like them). Middle of the road is great for her. She is not a dog park dog. She just doesn't enjoy that environment and best not to set her up for failure if there would be dogs there that are small or out of control ( which they tend to be there) Think of her as the fun police. If things are getting too rambunctious she wants to calm it back down. The nice thing about her is she is very easy to redirect if she DOES get a little bitchy. The thing about her is, these are just her quirks. If you know what kind of dog she is, she is very easy to live with. If someone is looking for a hiking/ dog park dog, she is not the one. She is a very mellow, not very high energy dog, so she doesn't need a high energy home.
She's just a home body. Walk the neighborhood and call it good kinda gal. Loves her people. She LOVES my husband, so she must have been a mans dog at one point in her life.
