Coton de Tulear
An adotable dog in Burlington, ON
Lola is ready for adoption!! She is a purebred Coton de Tulear. Lola became paralyzed a few months ago but has recovered/regained her mobility through physio/rehab at the Canine Wellness Centre in Toronto. Xrays showed *something* (narrowed discs) at T12-13 and L3-4
Lola will require ongoing monitoring of her condition & continued therapy to keep her mobile. Ideally we would like her to continue with her current therapist. But if out of the area we can discuss a referral.
Lola is a great little dog and really strong now. Her foster mom has done an amazing job training her, and taking her everywhere & anywhere. She has even been on the TTC!! And she loves car rides. Lola has also been to the beach and taken a little dip in the water. She is well trained, loves swimming, nature walks, goes on the subway, and even went to a restaurant in her little crate and was quiet as a mouse.
We do need to find Lola her forever home soon, as her foster mom is leaving for school soon & we don't want to bounce her around too much from home to home. We feel that she would be best suited to an adult home either with no other dogs, or only small dogs. While Lola loves dogs of all sizes, and grew up with children, we feel that living with a large dog &/or active children, might put her at risk of injury during rambunctious play.
