Mozart is an 8 year young Shih Tzu BCAA pulled from the county shelter. He is very wary of strangers at first but eventually will get very attached to his person. Once heâs claimed his person he is a constant companion. He loves to be with his human, even just sitting on the couch sleeping. He will sit by the door and wait until his person comes home and must always be in the same room with them. He is protective of his human and will bark at strangers. He would be an excellent friend in a senior household or quiet adult home. He is housetrained and only occassionally wants to go on walks. He is just fine going out back a few times a day and coming right back in to be with his person. Walks are very optional with Mozart. He was fairly well trained and lets you know when it's food time, when he needs to go out and especially if you are not paying enough attention to him. Mozart was most likely an only child and would be content to be one again. He likes to have all the attention and all the toys and treats for himself. He loves to play with toys and will even let his human play for a bit. Mozart can be huffy if he doesnât like something. He will growl a little and let you know that whatever is not alright. Most of what he doesn't like involves scissors and clippers. He's probably gotten cut a few times and who can really blame him. A muzzle helps to get thru those necessary grooming sessions. Given some time for adjustment, Mozart is a lovely companion animal. His goal is to spend time with his person and give them all of his love and attention.
