Max

Neapolitan Mastiff

An adotable dog in Aurora, CO

  • Senior
  • Extra Large
  • Male

Meet Max! This charming boy is a 7 year old Neapolitan Mastiff, primarily black in color with some cool gold stripes blended in. Max is an intelligent pup that has been taught all the manners suitable to a Mastiff. Max is not only house-trained but, he is leash-trained and literally will walk himself with the leash in his mouth. With a pup that smart, you can only expect that he is a good listener and obeys all the commands that he is taught. Max has lived all of his years being an inside dog which means that he is trustworthy with free roam and likes to stretch out on the couch for his afternoon naps. Max doesn’t dig or chew, but he will bark to alert you of things that just don’t seem right to him. He is a sweet boy that is well adjusted and has many interests to keep him occupied. He loves bones, balls, sticks, ice cream, squeaky toys, Bil Jac Dog Treats, pizza, and spaghetti. We know that Max was well loved and it was painful for his owners to make the decision to release him. See, they had rescued him from a busy intersection when he was just 7 months old. They have raised him and loved him and now that they have fallen on difficult times, they have to take the next step for his future. Max will bring joy to any house and gets along marvelously with dogs and cats. He is good with children too, but he isn’t a fan of being climbed on, so a house without tiny children might be best. This Big Boy is afraid of skateboarders and motorcycles, but those are just little quirks that hopefully you can look past or help him overcome. Max loves his car rides and let’s his jowls flap in the breeze! This kind hearted senior is looking for a home for his retirement years. Mellow households with tons of love to give should apply now.
