An adotable dog in Willits, CA
Current sanctuary bio: "Jumping Chip is a fine boy, with a big rough coat. Chip is affectionate, but not all mushy. He just wants to be around you, and have a good time. Chip is the most delicate eater I have ever seen. Chip lives with Molly, and they seem to be very fond of each other. If Chip strikes your fancy, come see him. He is not the easiest of our dogs, but he is not the hardest. He is a good looking boy who deserves a chance."
Currently living up at the Milo sanctuary near Willits.
This handsome dog was stuck in a backyard in Richmond, while his careless owners trashed their rented house!
When the tenants left, they left CHIP behind in the yard. His collar too tight and growing into his neck - and he was filthy! The property owner asked the Pinole Shelter what to do, and they turned to us. CHIP is a wiggly, energetic, dog friendly, people loving guy.
He's just a 45 lb. happy, bouncy, dorky fellow, who'll need some basic training and help making a transition to being an indoor dog. Learning not to jump up is on his training priority list. And, CAN HE JUMP! He is a spring loaded, Leapin' Lizard!! Jumping for joy, straight up and down - so happy to be out of his previous situation, getting attention, activity and love!
IF you are looking for an active canine companion - please consider Chip
