An adotable dog in Briarcliff Manor, NY
Coal is a 4 year old Schipperke mix. He's been in a foster home for 6 months, but his foster dad will be traveling for the better part of a year so it's time for Coal to find a permanent home (a long term foster would also be considered). Coal is a terrific dog thanks in large part to his foster dad's efforts. He's had behavioral training and knows about 25 commands and behaviors on cue. He gets along amazingly well with other dogs. He's very social with people and is good with kids. He loves outdoor activities like hiking and trips to the dog park, but is also great in the house; he knows how to chill out and relax at home (he's even been trained to know which furniture he's allowed on and which he's not!) Coal would thrive in an active home, especially one with a dog friend or two to play with. Coal is an all-around great dog, well-trained, well-behaved, and a playful social butterfly!
