Boston Terrier, Mix
An adotable dog in Newtown, PA
Pam is very mellow and very sweet although not very active. She is totally 100% housetrained. I normally take her out more than she needs to but she will sit at the door if she needs to go out. Each day she gets a little less reserved, she now jumps up on my bed and lays with me while I am reading or watching tv. And I finally got her to play ball with me, throwing it and she'll go get it and bring it back to me. She sleeps quite a bit and when I work out she'll just lay at the top of our steps waiting for me to finish. I have noticed she likes to "hide" with her back to a wall or if my husband raises his voice she will go in the other room or in our hallway so I think she had some abuse in her past life. She's pretty jumpy when she hears loud noises. We don't have any other animals and she has not been around any small children so I can't say how she will take to either. And perhaps if she has kids running around with more activity she won't sleep so much - our house if fairly mellow - we are both old!! When we're home we're mostly relaxing.
