Melody is a 1-2 year old pit bull girl. While she is just like any other dog in that she loves to run and play, Melody is unusual because she only has 3 legs. We think that she was hit by a car, and by the time she made it to the shelter, it was too late to save her leg. But she is great though missing her leg! She is affectionate to people, but she is scared of cats! She could go to a home with children over 10 who are respectful of her. She can be a bit defensive with other dogs, perhaps because of her injury, but only until she gets to know them.
Age: 1-2 years old
Weight: 45 pounds
Reason for surrender to shelter: Melody was a stray.
If you are interested in meeting Melody, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application. If you have questions, please email the above address or contact our adoption staff member at 215-298-9680, ext. 16.
