I was an ugly duckling; sad, lonely and scared. I didn't know love. I  didn't know tenderness, caring and friendliness. I came here with a  broken spirit. BUT... I have become a SWAN! Love, friendliness, care and tenderness have  mended my broken spirit!

Please note: 3rd picture is the condition she came to us in.  Hi, my name is Swan. I am a young hound dog that now knows what it is  like to be healthy and happy. I have friends to play with, people who  are taking wonderful care of me and teaching me how to be a good  girl. They say I am between a year and 2 years. I love to play with my  foster brothers. I am good with the horses and the cats and I like kids  too. I am sleeping in a crate at night now and learning to be a house dog.  It is pretty cool in the house, lots of new things to check out. I  have learned I am not supposed to help clean off the counters and empty  the trash can. I thought I would try and help since my foster mom has  been so great to me but there are some things in the house I am just not supposed to do. I AM learning the ropes and I'm doing really well from  what they tell me. I do like to bark with the other dogs while we are  playing but I am not a BARKER per say. I am not destructive, as I am a  lover, not a fighter! I could play all day long with my friends! I  like long walks in the fields, meadows and woods. I would make a great  companion to someone that is outdoorsy, hikes or jogs. I am ready to  be a good pet to someone who is willing to share their time and love  with me! So if you are looking for a girl that has a new outlook on  life and is ready to meet the world head on with you, WELL you found  her! Call and we can meet!
