Cherry is the cutest, little, female Terrier/Silky Terrier mix, just about 1 yr old and weighs 11.5 lbs. She is a wonderful dog who loves everyone! She gets along well with other dogs and could probably learn how to live with cats. She is a puppy, so she still does puppy things like chewing on shoes, but her foster is working with her on what is acceptable to chew on. She is too young to be considered fully potty trained, but she is doing great so far and uses the doggie door when she needs to go potty. She sleeps in a crate at night, and only cries to get out when she needs to go potty. She learned how to sit very quickly, so I think she will be super easy to train. She barks at things she sees out the window and when people come to there door to let you know what is going on. Cherry is looking for a family that isn't gone all day as she doesn't like to be alone or she will get bored. She would do fine with children old enough to treat her carefully -- probably 5 years old and up. Cherry is spayed and UTD on shots. Want your life to be a bowlful of cherries with Cherry? Just contact us.

All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such the individuals most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog would be the family that they have been living with! We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and UTD on shots before adoption. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period, during which time the adoption fee is fully refundable if the dog is returned. At the end of the 2 week FTA period, a volunteer will do a home visit to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog, but generally range from $150 - $200.
