Faith was returned to AAT because of dog fighting with another dog after 3 years of problems in the home, family was uncooperative about letting us work with their behaviorist and we were forced to reclaim Faith. Faith came in to rescue as a puppy and was fostered in a residential section of Philadelphia. She came from shelter where she was given up because family did not have the time. Her foster mom made sure Faith was totally socialized with children, other dogs of all ages, both male and female and she went to stores and other volunteers homes for play dates. Mentally she was very well adjusted and stable puppy, she left AAT at 7 months after being in foster care for two months. She was adopted to a couple and returned to AAT with a severe staff infection, dry dull coat, hair loss and extremely over weight. She was clearly on a very poor diet and now is on Fresh Pet and supplements from Natures Farmacy. Faith was clearly never socialized outside the farm, Locked up in horse stalls and tied outside to trees. In foster care, she is being socialized outside the home. She is nervous around other animals in small spaces but otherwise is doing great. Even though she is with both male and female dogs in her foster home, we feel that it is in Faith's best interest to be loved as an only dog in the family. She has been through so much and now deserves all the love of her forever family.
