Domestic Short Hair

An adotable cat in Philadelphia, PA

  • Baby
  • Small
  • Male

This animal is not at the shelter; he is in foster care. If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please email the foster parent.

Wayne is a 3-month-old shy little guy, but once he warms up he will be your new best friend. He can be soothed with affection and time to warm up to his new surroundings. Wayne loves to cuddle and be scratched behind the ears; he will sit in your lap and lay for hours. Wayne likes to play with toy mice, ribbons and boxes. He's a calm kitten who likes to chill out on the couch with his foster moms. Wayne is healthy, neutered, vaccinated and ready to find a loving family. Wayne loves to cuddle with his brother, Jadakiss, who is also available for adoption! He would do well in a home with older kids and no dogs. Please email adoptfosterkittens@gmail.com to schedule a time to come meet Wayne at his foster home.

PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphia's animal control shelter and adopts them out from several locations: our adoption center (located at 2nd and Arch Streets), our wellness clinic (located at 2900 Grays Ferry Ave.), one of our adoption locations at area PETCO and PetSmart stores, or our network of foster homes.

PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

When you adopt a pet from PAWS you truly save a life!

Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring about this pet. PAWS' Adoption Center is open Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PAWS' Wellness Clinic is open Monday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All animals adopted from PAWS are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Adoption fees are as follows: $150 for dogs older than 1 year, $200 for puppies under 1 year, $50 for cats over 6 months of age, and $75 for cats under 6 months of age.
