Well, the day has come … I’m sadly signing off; this will be my last blog with petMD’s The Daily Vet. I’ve enjoyed the ride and all the comments, followers, and support, but working three jobs at once is leaving me little time for the things and ones that I love.
Some of my favorite blogs that I enjoyed sharing with you and hearing your commentary and support on were:
- Why you should date a veterinarian
- For love of dog — How much would you pay for your dog?
- Mourning your dog’s death… and celebrating his (or her’s) life
- Euthanasia: A vet’s personal and horrific story
- Letting your pet die at home
- How to properly pronounce veterinarian
Some of my least favorite, due to some of the insane, rude commentary:
Despite the ups and downs over the past year and a half, I’ve loved hearing from so many of you and really appreciated all the support from my fellow pet owners when I was going through JP’s cancer diagnosis, treatment, and euthanasia. It’s wonderful to know that there are so many (well, mostly) good-hearted people out there who really do live up to what their dogs (or cats) think of them.
Thanks for following, and you can still stay in touch with me at Dr. Justine Lee on Facebook, at @drjustinelee on Twitter, at Pet Poison Helpline, and at my personal website for my booksIt’s a Dog’s Life… but It’s Your Carpet and It’s a Cat’s World… You Just Live In It.
Thanks for the ride, and keep your four-legged ones close to your hearts.
