I am on vacation this week. Rather than leave you hanging while I’m catching up on some much needed R & R, I thought I’d channel Linda Richman of Saturday Night Live “Coffee Talk” fame.

I confess to being one of those people that try to feed the critters something wonderful from time to time.

One can of Fancy Feast "Mornings" (split among 4 cats) is met with more excitement than other flavors. It makes me happy to think they're enjoying the treat.

Hopefully the kitties haven't seen the Fancy Feast commercial where the cat is served from a stemmed crystal dish. There's no doubt they would want the same treatment, but that's where I draw the line. Granted, it's a very thin line, but it's there.

There's definitely something to pet food manufacturers making critter food pleasing to the human's eye. There's one type of fish cat food that my critters liked, but I had a terrible time with it looking like pieces of cut-up fish. (I could SWEAR I saw an eyeball once.) Even though the critters loved it, I quit buying for just that reason.

Cat's are not people...we would not enjoy the foods they really like to eat...let them enjoy their eyeballs ;-)
