Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker is one of the best ways to cool down your fur babies during those long, hot summer days.

The Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker was brought to our attention by Melissa, owner of Doggie Couture Shop, an authorized dealer of some incredible brand pet fashion names like Ed Hardy, Louis Dog, and Chrome Bones. Doggie Couture Shop's mantra: "Our attention to quality and detail is second to none!"

Fortunately, we received the Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker to test a couple of weeks ago, just as another very hot Miami summer was getting under way. Basically, this treat maker is a very cool oversized "pupsicle" kit.

As such, Gordi, Loca, and Happa thought it would be a great idea to have a Kool Dogz party in the dog park. So Friday night, prior to the next afternoon's festivities, we opened the Kool Dogz, filled it with water, and started adding stuff -- we put in carrots, apple chunks, doggie biscuits, even a tennis ball for Gordi. (Not sure what treats to put in the Kool Dogz? No worries, there are recipe suggestions included.) Then we secured the lid on the pail and stuck it in the freezer; it's that easy to prepare!

By Saturday afternoon, it was frozen solid and ready for the festivities, which were set to begin promptly at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. As you can imagine, all the four-legged invitees were there slobbering with anticipation. We unmolded the ice treat, attached it to the base (as illustrated in the directions), and the pups were off! Within 20 minutes the ice treat was gone. But what else would you expect with ensconced goodies on a 90-degree summer afternoon?

We have used the Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker several times since then; it doesn't matter what treats we put inside, they go crazy every time. In fact, now, when the Haute or Not? testers see the white and blue "pupsicle" mold, they get a little nuts.

Seeing as there is plenty of hot, humid days left ahead of us, we say get your Kool Dogz Ice Treat Makers now. Your "hot dogs" will love it.

This is great! You can freeze their favorite toys, or treats in this and it lasts much longer than ice cube trays. Much for fun!

I take chicken or beef broth and fill ice cube trays for my dog- she loves them and it doesn't cost as much as your Kool Dogz Treat Maker!
