Try to work in a fast-paced environment (phones ringing, dogs barking, cats that look like they want to rip your heart out with their teeth, clients complaining about prices or demanding to be seen by the doctor immediately) without losing your mind every once in awhile. It’s enough to bring on a Calgon moment every 15 minutes or so.
Now imagine all this activity occurring in the context of a dysfunctional group of people. It’s not pleasant. Like any family unit, our ten to fifteen person group gets stressed out and frustrated with itself every so often. Lately, it`s been inching towards powder keg level. And I don’t want to be around when it goes off.
