Miss Brown’s leg, two and a half weeks post-op, is now in great shape. To see this puppy run around comfortable, it’s scary to think what a few more days without surgery might have yielded. A three-legged dog would have been the likeliest outcome. As it was, Dr. Wosar sweated over the surgery and proclaimed that a mere 75% chance of success was to be expected.
A couple of weekends and a few nights at my house have not been nearly sufficient to complete her housebreaking. She needs a consistent environment and a loving owner to make that happen. I have no fears that she’ll make the best possible pet for whomever is lucky enough to take her home.
