More Vet Stuff

December 17, 2005 / (0) comments

Vet stuff: braving Miami traffic, dropping off the kid at school, Starbucks before work, a round of good mornings and (rarely) disaster reports, peering into the kennels and cages to assess the basic state of my patients, weeding through their records and updating their treatments, re-examining the lot, a round of phone calls, smoking a cigarette outside and downing the rest of my coffee before the first round of appointments/emergency visits (vets smoke? — uh-oh), prepping for surgeries, dentistries, and other anesthetic procedures, doing said procedures, lunchtime!: gym, home, food, sunning, reading, Starbucks, picking up the kid at school, back to work, afternoon appointments, another round of phone calls, bla bla bla…
