Q. How can you tell if your dog is suffering?
ROSS MASSIMIANO, DVM
A. If it has some kind of disease you already know about and it doesn't want to eat, drink, or move. If it can't get up to go to the bathroom. Or if it is wasting away and losin weight by the day. If there are any obvious wounds on the dog that are not being treated by a veterinarian that is also suffering. They can also suffer from lack of attention such as a dog stuck in a kennel its whole life outside, especially in bad weather. If you are concerned about a dog it's better to take action and be wrong than do nothing.
