A. Does your dog appear normal before the jumping, and then yelps in fear DUE to the jumping? Or are you thinking that the jumping is a response to something painful? In other words, which comes first?
This sounds like a complex problem and it looks like you and your vet have been working to figure out what's going on, but nothing obvious is coming up. If a really thorough physical and neurological exam has not been done, they need to be. I'm wondering about severe pain, perhaps related to a spinal problem - maybe a pinched nerve. If blood work is normal a trial of pan relievers might be in order if an exact location of pain can't be pinpointed. It's also worth considering x-rays of the chest to make sure everything looks normal in the lungs. Not trying to be alarmist but when there's nothing obvious you have to start looking everywhere. If you want to consult further I'd be happy to review the blood work and x-rays and see if I can make any more specific recommendations. Just re-ask the question but select "consult" next time.
